On January 14th, 2011, in Seoul, South Korea, in front of the defense ministry, people protested against the visit of U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. The signs read “(U.S.) Secretary of Defense Robert Gates go home, who keeps bringing military pressure on North Korea!” (R) and “Open negotiations with North Korea quickly if the North’s uranium enrichment is a threat!”.
